Taking from Art Nouveau and the 60s Psychedelic movement, I decided to reimagine a promotional poster for Harry Styles' 2021 "Love on Tour". I wanted to apply these design styles to something that would be relevant today.
I decided to edit and image of the artist to emulate a 'painted' profile with hyperbolic curvilinear lines. I was inspired by the 60s posters to play with vibrant colors and use those curved lines to form block text.
Process
In terms of technicalities, it was important to strike a balance between natural flow of the lines and legibility, so that the psychedelic element was still inviting. The typography is hand warped uniquely each time.

Mocked up
Renderings of the digital poster as a vinyl, a CD, cover for Spotify and physical posters
I think this 60s, art nouveau-inspired style can translate to this specific performer, as he is known for breaking boundaries, like it was characteristic of many during the movement. The poster makes sense as it was a popular medium back then for artists and these promotional elements are still as relevant today in the entertainment industry.
